Compare locations and properties, coordinate surveys and legal review, and understand constraints before committing.
Buying land or building a home in Costa Rica shouldn't mean managing the unknown from thousands of miles away. We're your independent team on the ground—protecting your interests, keeping you informed, and coordinating the people who bring your project to life.

Chacon & Ruiz Project Management was created to make complex property and construction decisions in Costa Rica easier to navigate—especially for owners managing them from abroad.
Our leadership combines Costa Rican civil-engineering experience with direct communication for U.S.-based clients. We coordinate the specialists, track the details and keep the decision-making where it belongs: with you.
We are owner's representatives—not the construction contractor, legal counsel, architect of record, or substitute for the project's licensed professionals.
Start a conversation ↗No. Engagements are organized by phases. You can join at any stage and decide whether to continue at each completed phase. If your project is already underway, we first assess what exists and define the scope we can responsibly take on.
We can help identify, vet and compare qualified candidates, coordinate proposals and make recommendations. You choose your professionals and sign contracts with them directly.
That's a central part of our approach. We coordinate local site observations and remote progress reporting, and bring important decisions to you. Certain legal, banking or project matters may still require your direct participation.
Possibly. Project Rescue begins with a separate assessment of contracts, work completed, budget, schedule and risk. We may decline an assignment where unresolved conditions make effective oversight impractical.
Our planned client platform includes a long-term property archive for approved documents, warranties and project media. The planned minimum access period is ten years after the engagement ends, with full export capability; final terms will be set out in your service agreement.
Tell us what you're building, where you are in the process, and what feels uncertain. We'll help you understand whether CRPM is the right fit.
